CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCYCOMMERCIAL
DRIVER TRAINING
Upon successful completion of the program,
students will have obtained the CDL Class A driver’s
license, and earned a Certificate of Proficiency.
The program is designed to train entry level drivers
to help meet the growing demand by carriers for
qualified personnel.
Our short term training programs, twenty days,
coupled with the right attitude and hard work put
our students on their way to becoming “professional
drivers.“
DTI 1107 Truck Driver Training . . . . . . . . . . . . .7
Minimum Required: 7 Credit Hours

ACDTI is an intensive training experience. Classes
meet five days a week from approximately 6 a.m.
to 5 p.m. each day.
The course is made up of a combination of
classroom time, skills-range driving practice, and
over-the-road driving practice. During the first few
days of your training, you will be in the classroom
studying to take your written CDL exams. After
passing your written exam, then the actual behindthe-
wheel training begins.
We will teach about how to inspect your truck and
trailer, how to back up and maneuver the rig, how to
shift, and how to go down the road moving the
freight that keeps this country moving.
At all times during your training, safety will be
emphasized. Protecting you, your classmates, and
the ACDTI instructors is our number one priority.
